African Caribbean Business Support is a not-for-profit organisation setup to speak with one voice to strategically influence regional policy making through advocacy and networking in order to strengthen African Caribbean businesses in Northwest England.

An African Caribbean owned business is a business enterprise (for-profit and not-for-profit), regardless of size, physically located in the Northwest of England region, which is owned, operated and controlled by any African Caribbean group members.

"African Caribbean group members" are individuals who consider themselves to be African or Caribbean or from African or Caribbean origins.

Ownership by such individuals means the business is at least 51% owned by such individuals or, in the case of a publicly-owned business, at least 51% of the stock is owned by one or more such individuals. Further, the management and daily operations are controlled by those African Caribbean group members.
